FAQ
Questions, answered
Material, engraving, shipping and after-sales — the questions overseas families and trade buyers ask us most. If yours is not here, ask us directly.
Material & craft
What exactly is the urn made of?
100% solid TA1 commercially pure titanium with a titanium content of 99.9% or more (GB/T 3620.1, equivalent to ASTM Grade 1/2). No filler, and surface treatments (hand-polishing, ice-crystal finish, anodising, 3D UV printing) do not change the corrosion resistance of the titanium itself.
Will it corrode, rust or discolour?
No. Titanium forms a self-healing passive oxide layer instead of corroding, and it is chemically inert in soil, fresh water and seawater. Anodising and PVD coating form a dense, well-bonded colour and hardening layer on the titanium; in normal use it does not flake or peel.
Does it need any maintenance?
Wipe it with a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and chlorinated products. Titanium needs no polish, wax or protective coating.
Can I receive the material certificate?
Yes. A mill test report (heat number, chemical composition, mechanical properties) can be supplied with any order, and independent test reports are published on our About page.
Why titanium instead of wood, stone or bronze?
Wood cracks, stone is heavy and can chip, and bronze develops patina and may corrode in acidic soil. Titanium is roughly half the weight of steel, unbreakable in normal handling, and chemically inert — it stays as it was made.
Customisation & engraving
What can be engraved?
A full name and dates, a short epitaph or quotation, scripture, a symbol (cross, star, lotus, Celtic knot, military insignia) or handwriting reproduced from a card or letter.
How much engraving is included?
Up to 30 characters are engraved free of charge on every order. Longer text, logos and hand-drawn artwork are quoted individually.
Can I approve the engraving before it is cut?
Yes. We send a proof showing the layout, typeface and line breaks, and we only start production after your written approval.
Which finishes are available?
Hand-polished, ice-crystal surface, anodised colour finishes (including bronze, sapphire blue and lavender tones) and 3D UV printing for full-colour artwork.
Can you make a custom size or shape?
Yes. Send a drawing, a photo or a reference object and we will confirm what is achievable in titanium — dimensions, wall thickness, lid mechanism, finish and engraving.
Ordering & packaging
What is the minimum order quantity?
One piece. We produce single memorials for families as well as volume orders for funeral homes and distributors.
How long does production take?
Lead time depends on the model, engraving and quantity, and is confirmed in writing with your quotation. Custom or engraved pieces naturally take longer than standard models.
What is included with the urn?
A presentation box, a protective pouch, a certificate of conformity and a memorial handbook. Packaging is designed so it can be opened in front of family without exposing the urn.
How is it packed for shipping?
Acid-free tissue, a soft pouch, a foam-cradled inner box and a double-walled outer carton marked fragile. Larger or high-value orders travel in a plywood crate.
Shipping & customs
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We ship door to door by air freight, typically 5–10 working days depending on destination and customs clearance speed.
Who prepares the export documents?
We do. We are a customs-registered exporter and prepare the commercial invoice, packing list and export declaration in-house.
Who pays import duty and taxes?
Duty and local taxes are set by the destination country and are normally the buyer's responsibility. If you prefer a single landed price, ask us to quote DDP (delivered duty paid).
Are there restrictions on importing an urn?
A few countries have specific rules for human remains or funeral products. Tell us the destination before ordering and we will confirm the paperwork required.
Warranty & after-sales
What does the warranty cover?
Manufacturing defects: the piece is repaired, or replaced, free of charge for as long as you own it. Accidental damage is quoted separately.
What if the urn arrives damaged?
Contact us immediately with photographs of the packaging and the piece. We will arrange a replacement or repair — our outer packaging is designed to prevent exactly this.
How quickly will I get a reply?
Enquiries are answered within 24 hours, any problem is given a solution within 48 hours, and we follow up within 3 days of delivery.
How is my family's privacy protected?
Names, dates and family details are used only to complete your order. Nothing is published, and nothing is passed to third parties.
Still have a question?
